Episode 112 "Anasazi Cave"/"Devil's Triangle"

Island of Bermuda

Lawyer Joey Veloz (Stuart Hughes) and his client, Sonny Brasco (Robert Kennedy), set sail on a boat cruise through the Bermuda Triangle. When Joey returns alone to port, he claims they floated aimlessly without provisions for three weeks. But, in fact, only five days have passed since their departure and Joey's passenger, Brasco, has disappeared. The Coast Guard confirms Veloz's departure time and medical tests indicate he was exposed to the elements for three weeks. The Office of Scientific Investigation and Research (O.S.I.R.) discover that Veloz's polygraph tests verify his story about sailing into a strange storm before losing power of the boat and its instruments. The O.S.I.R.'s Peter Axon (Barclay Hope) examines the boat's equipment and finds virtually all equipment inoperable.

The O.S.I.R. believes Veloz may have perpetrated the story to cover up the murder of Brasco for a Columbian drug cartel. The O.S.I.R. think they have uncovered a clever murder plot, until data indicates a recent tropical storm in the questioned area. If a storm really occurred and Veloz is telling the truth, then Brasco could still be alive.

Case Manager Professor Conner Doyle (Paul Miller) leads his team into the Bermuda Triangle. This will be Doyle's sixth expedition into the zone. Doyle confesses to the O.S.I.R.'s Lindsay Donner (Nancy Anne Sakovich) that he had a bizarre encounter in the Bermuda Triangle while serving in the Navy. When it was over, only he and the Executive Officer survived.
Unfortunately, the Navy suppressed his report. Two days drift by before the team locate a mysterious, dark mass. They sail directly into the phenomenon that has plagued Doyle for 15 years.
